Navis Consulting are currently looking for a Refrigeration Engineer to join our client’s fleet of Cruise Vessels on a permanent basis. The purpose of this role is the operation and maintenance of vessel’s refrigeration systems.
Responsibilities
Main Tasks & Activities:
- Maintenance of the machinery plant for air condition. Provision, pumps, refrigerators, ice machines complete fan unit, air supply units in Passengers, crew cabins and public areas;
- Plant maintenance, regularly operations check, test of alarms and repair of equipment;
- Daily round in all fan room, galley, pantry, provision and Engine room;
- Issuing and reporting on regular basis
- Monitor spare parts and consumables stock, stored and required for various sections of the machinery plant.
Requirements
Experience/Skills required
- Previous shipboard experience in the role of HVAC Engineer/Refrigeration engineer/Ventilation officer preferably with previous passenger ship experience.
- The ability to read, write and speak English clearly and distinctly.
- Fgas/EPA certification
- STCW Basic Training
